Need Advice

*Before I start, I know and have heard it is very stupid to use PvP gear in PvE, but I started doing it before I knew because I'm a noob and never read up on things enough lol*.

Ok, so I'm two pieces from completing my Gladiator's set. When I complete it, should I just take a long break until WOTLK and use the current gear to level up, or get the S2 gear and more (if it's released before WOTLK) instead.

Any input would be greatly appreciated, thank you!|||s2 gear for honour is coming in a week and a half.

You can even enter the arena and get (shock horror) s3 or s4 gear.|||Quote:

"very stupid" is a gross exaggeration. PvP isn't optimal for raiding and PvE but it is usually quite good and almost always better than standard blue PvE gear it also varies quite a bit depending upon class and spec and how far up the gear you go. For example [item]Vengeful Gladiator's Spellblade[/item] is one of the best caster swords a lock can get (ranked #5 on Canadianpimp's Gear Guide and 2 of the ones above it are S4)|||Thank you for your replies. Am happily planning ahead on my new li'l rogue, so it'd throw a monkeywrench in my plans as well if they fiddle with stuff too much.|||I don't have much time to raid so I do pvp a lot.

Let's say the average honor point accomplished is 1k per hour. 237,759 is roughly 240 hours. If you play 4 hours per day doing BGs, it will take 60 days to gear up.

I am not sure if I am up to the BG grinding. If the new expansion (lvl 80) is coming at the end of this year and the S4/S2 gears will be a joke except 70 twinks.|||Quote:

Don't forget the "for Great honor" quest. AS long as you "even out" your BG play time you'll wind up with "extra" marks which you can turn in. A full load of 100 each is 31.4k honor.

You're missing a bit - you can do Arenas and significantly speed things up that way by purchasing items through arena points.
