best partner(s) for a rogue in arena?

in all tiers, 2v2 3v3 and 5v5, I would like to know what classes work well with rogues form your experience, and what rogues do best to help the arena team win

I'm a 53 rogue working towards seventy, and i wanna start thinking about arena and what i should be working towards, and the basics would be team composition right?

Gear is very important, I know, but I can't get any gear that will actually be used until about 70 so.

Yeah, just shed any light on the subject you have, I will be grateful :-)|||Rogue and frost mage seems to be a good combo. Mage can slow down the enemy so it is hard for them to get away. Honestly, I don't see much to do at 53 to prepare for arena other than getting to 70. Once you get to 70 you'll have to bg until your eyes bleed but should also start arena right away even if you loose most of your matches you'll still be getting arena points.|||Unless specified otherwise Warlock's are Soul Link (Felguard or otherwise, though Felguard is the standard for 5v5), mages are Frost with Water Elemental and all healers are healing specs.

2v2: Rogue/Mage or Rogue/Warlock

3v3: Rogue/Mage/Priest or Rogue/Mage/Druid

5v5: Rogue/Mage/Priest/Shaman or Druid/Warlock - Shaman can be Elemental but it puts a LOT of pressure on the priest.|||Quote:

awesome, thanks for the advice, I should be 70 by the end of feb at most, and I can't wait to pvp in arena.|||so I am now 70(gta4 dropped, so i took a hiatus) ive got a healadin partner, and were starting arena tonight.

i played the arena tournament test realm, and it was me and a resto druid, and we did really well, winning about 70%, what always got us was elem sham and mage, they would just nuke one of us too fast

anything changed since feb? 2.4 doesnt affect arena play much right?|||Rogue work pretty much with any class:P but dpriest - rogue is very good, but you might have some problem at high ratning against warrior - resto druid!|||I'd say Rogue + Rogue [2v2], Rogue + Rogue + Rogue [3v3], Rogue + Rogue + Rogue + Rogue + Rogue [5v5]

in 2v2 it DONT work , tested and confiremd .... once you meet a team with say...

Pally+Warr

Warr+Warr

Pally+Drood ..... or many other combos you and your rogue partner is toasted

I team with my guildies only and me and another rogue was fun but not really good...but then i teamed with a frost mage ..... pure pwnage , the "hard" teams to meet is not so many anymore
