Anybody have a Good Battle plan for Allaince in AV?

Good plan for Alliance in the current AV|||Take back your towers

Take their towers

Done.|||Learn to live with losing. There has to be an imbalance somewhere. On EU servers we hold our own in WSG and AB but get spanked everytime in AV. I often see the same players in all BG's so there must be another factor.|||Actually *having* a battle plan would probably be the trick. Too many pugmates that think they won't win anyway, and just deathmatch in small knots or big lumps, never tactically.|||Quote:

is always a great idea but *gl* with that in a pug AV! thats a *good* one...

I feel patronized when I see those *'s, am i right to feel that way?|||Quote:

IMO, you shouldn't. It's just one of the few ways to suggest emphasis with a text-based medium. My favorite, personally. And he seemed to me to be directing that comment at PUGtards, not an active member of a mature community attempting to form a strategy. If it had been directed at you, then yeah.

But: "Too many pugmates that think they won't win anyway, and just deathmatch in small knots or big lumps, never tactically." That pretty clearly doesn't apply to you. You're trying to establish tactics, people like the ones he's talking about would 'LOL omg nub' anyone who even suggested they form a plan.|||Quote:

What Frank said above - I mostly use 'em as an alternate form of bolding the text.|||ok, fair enough! Sorry for the misunderstanding. Just frustrating because I don't see a way of winning AV with the current PUG group in my Alliance EU battlegroup. We get swept away every time. Not one win in the past month (casually playing). THe other BG's we do alright just not AV. Weird. Last game we played we got to zero and they were over 500!|||It's the law of unintended consequences biting folks straight in their backsides. Alliance complained bitterly that the Horde had too quick access to belinda. Horde starting cave gets moved down south and now the horde are "gently" forced into a more defensive game.

Horde defense = horde win

(edit)

I am talking about typical pug scenarios. A well coordinated Alliance effort can beat a horde defensive game in a few ways.|||We do, g1+2, take ibt. Stay until its capped. g3+4 go to tp, stay till capped. g5+6, get fwgy, stay, and 7+8 go to rh. if a tower is taken, go and get it back, don't go alone, go in groups. Wait until everything capped, kill drek. Never dismount until you reach your place.

I've been using this strat for awhile now after many bad ones, and haven't lost once. Must be at like, 50-0 at least.

Most other strats we loose on. Only other thing I've seen work some times is everyone rush rh, like, 2 groups defend. But no strat works unless you have everyone work together.
