Hey guys, I am soon to be level 70 on the Hakkar server. My main is a hunter and my friend wants to do arena when I ding. However this team breaks all the "rules". He is a prot pally and I am a BM SV hunter. Is there anyway at all we will be able to be even remotely successful in arena, and if so what might be a good strategy for running this team. Thanks for your expertise everyone. P.S. We are not really all that concerned with having a monster 2000+ rating or anything, we just want to have fun and win sometimes. Lol|||If he respecs to Holy you might have something that could win at times.
If he respecs to Ret you might bash a few faces before they know what hit 'em.
As prot, no way.
You'll be lagging behind the gear level regardless so no matter what you pick it'll be tough.|||Prot pally can work as a laugh, cos they go for him and he doesn't die :) Just means you have to be able to take someone down very quickly.

The prot pally has almost the full glad set, I am currently a few thousand honor away from affording the set as soon as I ding 70. No.
Simply put, Prot Pallies do not work in the arena. In whatever team combination you can think of, there's no way a Prot Paladin will come remotely close to fitting in. None. Whatsoever.
The only thing that'll do is you gaining slightly more points on avg/week and someone else getting some points as well.
