i m new to world of warcraft, and was wondering how i get started in arena, bgs, and pvp.
plz help me and tell me how for each.

You are able to start bgs from level 10 on, although I would advise to wait till you are *9 for each bracket (19, 29, 39, etc...) if you want to stand a chance and actually assist your team in winning. You can enter in the bgs at any major city for your faction.
In order to arena for rating, you have to reach max level (70 at this moment) and create a team charter from an arena organizer (one in Gadget, one in BEM by the Ring of Blood). From then on its a matter of queueing your team and trying it out.
As far as world pvp goes, if you are on a pvp server, just go out into the world and find a member of the opposing faction, and try to kill them. If you are on a regular server, you will have to flag yourself, and find an opposing member that is flagged before you can attack.
