Whats up i am posting here today as an insider and fan of the world of warcraft the way that it used to be when the original DEV team crafted an amazing game. My position with in the company is an SSE - tools. I have been in many conversations and meetings with one called kalgan or his real name tom chilton.
my distaste for where he has been taking the game, and as an individual, is great.
In many of the meetings he has let it be known that his "idea" of PVP is to insure that the greater number of the fanbase gets what they want and that it "doesnt hurt that his and most of the staff's favorite classes fall into those classes". after that is said there is some laughing and snickering in the room. He has also stated "That there will be no change within the realm of top and bottom pvp classes as we could also timesink the game that way also by having other classes move to the top PVP classes so they can better their PVP experience, grinding out another level 70 generates more revenue." also this has been said "it really doesnt matter what the players want as long as they are addicted to the game, we as the development team dictate how the game should be played in PVP and the game base will follow regardless of their complaining about their so-called favorite class (laughs) let them timesink a real PVP class or two instead of their warlocks and shamans who are only supposed to be support"
Later on in the postings i will reveal leaked memo notes from alot of the staff that are complaining on the way things are handled as they would like to see the game go the way of the customer base and not the way tom chilton would like to play the game himself, some are afraid to speak out because they love their job.
I am doing this because a once great game that i play myself has be outsourced to an idiot lead dev and most are sick of his idiotic take on the game itself. i will continue to do so until the community speaks out against this moron and he is replaced with a competent lead dev.

The original post reads to me more like a normal dissatisfied customer, not one that's an insider, to be honest. The original poster is going to have to establish some credibility before I'll take this as anything but a rant by someone who's favorite toon got nerfed. Establishing credibility in a case like this would be tricky.
This isn't saying I think it's all a fabrication, but I'm not going to join in on trying to make someone lose their job, or encourage anyone else to do so, without some more substantial evidence.|||Quote:

Look boys and girls, it's time for another rousing round of "I hate Kalgan" rants... Seriously, get a grip. You are talking ancient history, which was more or less argued to death, and mostly comprised of people stringing together things that may or may not have been related at best. Please, take this drivel somewhere else. Your so-called "insider" information so far is nothing but summarizing the uselessness that pervaded the official forums months ago, half of which was made up.

You're (supposedly) in a room with them at various meetings so why don't you voice your concerns there?
To be honest, I find it hard to believe that someone who can barely grasp the basics of sentence structure can get in such a position where they'd be allowed to attend such meetings.
Anyway, if you don't like the game... don't play it/have nothing more to do with it.
I, for one, have found Blizzard to be a pretty good company when it comes to customer feedback and listening to their players.|||Quote:

To stir up trouble. There's people who have taken apparent personal offense to Kalgan from time to time, and they often claim to be this or that person... There is often a lot of speculation, with a dash of making references to other people's speculation, but no evidence to support anything. Instead, it is a matter of trying to incite a riot of sorts... as if the people who have decided that they dislike Kalgan can somehow get him fired if they get enough people to dislike Kalgan... whether it is for legitimate reasons or (more often) not.

The ones that usually point out these type of flaws are anal and pathetic and are the tupe that will never , thank god, enter the gene pool.
Some of you anals need to relax and just read the forums without searching for some type of flaw in the way they post. If that is what you do then seriously go get some sun you no life pathetic nerds.|||Quote:

Actually, it is called "communication" -- for it to work, there should be some means for people to be able to understand each other. People will tend to overlook something when someone can't be bothered with basic punctuation and spacing.
