I understand the hit rating concept in PVE, the ability to hit a mob thats a higher lvl to you.
how does it work in PVP?
My 29 twink rogue can beat a lvl 49 hunter( not saying they are any good) but was wondering why i can actually hit a target 20 lvls higher than me, and not only hit them but do decent enough damage to kill them?|||Hmm yeah I find that strange too. I'd say you miss them constantly.|||i think you would miss them constantly, and the odd hit that you did get took most of their HP.
honestly, there's no way break this down without knowing your stats, the hunter's stats, your play style, his play style, what happened during the battle, etc.|||Well the hunter is Wargirl on the nagrand server, and the my rogue is auburnveil also of nagrand.
war didnt have a pet the first time, and i could pretty much stealth and ambush, i didnt seem to miss much either, the second fight War went and got a low lvl boar pet lvl 11 i think, then i kept getting seen in stealth so i ran away killed the boar and then only just killed her the second time.
Now war is my young son so skills and gear arent that great, it is more the ability to hit something 20 lvls higher that was interesting.|||strange. every time i see someone with a "skull" level, my hits miss, spells get resisted, and i get 1-shotted to death. so i dont know. maybe i should look at the armory lol... when i get home!
