pvp priest help

[:1]Hi iv a LvL 45 Shadow priest that�s grate at grinding but EVERY time i come across a hord i dye never ever win the fight am i wasting my time i have a lesser LvL roge should i concentrate on that or what getting fed up with being hord fodder|||What level are the people who are killing you?

You have to keep in mind that as you level, you are going to be killed by higher level players. There really isn't a whole lot you can do. My best advice there is to invest in some Invisibility potions to help you escape a bit better.

If you are dying to opponents of the same level, could you give us some more information about what is going wrong? What class are they, what are you doing to fight back, ect.

The other thing to consider is that you might want to move to a PvE server if being fodder for the opposite faction while you level is bothering you. It's not something that is going to go away on a PvP server. It doesn't take too long to level to 45, so you can start over pretty easily.|||Priest is THE most underpowered of all, I have a lvl 85 shad priest and it just sucks, or maybe its Cata that sucks, I did more damage at lvl 80 that i do at 85 and I find myself CONSTANTLY stuck in Ice, what the hell|||I have a disc priest that does fine - you seem convinced that something sucks, but you haven't considered the obvious :-)

Seriously, I always made a beeline for the shadow priest in WotLK as well, so maybe they're not the arena powerhouse in general. A well-played priest is still a pain in the proverbials - damned psychic scream ...|||Thanks for the comments. I don�t mind getting splattered if I can at least slap them a little. Just saying the priest just seems well under powered but I suppose that�s the challenge. to be honest the hord iv come up against are the same lvl or higher and they started the fight . Hunters say hi.|||I thought it only right to say recently after getting a little more resist, i LOVE playing my priest now, i think, it was me who just failed aat playing them, i read up a bit and now, although ill never be top of the dps or healing chart i can finish off a lot of opponants with my new improved shad priest. I have 2.9k resist and 130k HP which gives me staying power to DOT and finish in a group. I go go 1v1 with a palla last longer (before i eventually die)

Priests are definably not boring to play, they require a lot of thinking to play effectively, i learn that now and have adjusted my game accordingly.
