[:1]Hi all, I am just wondering, lets say if equally skilled player with equal gear, what happens when a pally and dk meet? Do the talent, abilities, etc... give one class an edge over another? Just been wondering, I know both are beast in pvp, what happens when they meet? I am kind of thinking the edge might go to pally for the bubble and healling. They also have some handy stuns. Of couse I could be off, let me know. Thanks.|||Equal skill and gear? I'd have to say the Paladin... Unless they're equally crappy playing, and equally crappy geared... Then I'd say the DK, cause DK's are a bit easier to play than Pally's when it comes to PvP, and especially duels.|||Stun, heal, immunity shield...
Paladin wins. No contest.|||mmm DK has 2 silences (one on a 2 min CD though). But the stuns and healing will win most matches I'd say. I have no sympathy for pallies in PvP right now (and I'm seeing very competitive damage in 5 mans from ret). A pally will say they have no real mobility skills... but neither does a rogue aside from Shadowstep which is not spammable (like Blink is) and the rogue can't bubble, heal etc. Yes yes... I know... CoS. 5 seconds when you're 5-10k burst can't kill me. Big whoop.|||paladin man!|||Quote:

This depends on several factors: talent builds of the participants, enviromental LOS-blocking obstacles or lack thereof, the presence of other players, access to consumables, the element of surprise, blind luck, etc.

Rogues, however, have access to Crippling Poison, which is far superior to the Paladins' Judgement of Justice.

Silence, lifedrain, antimagic shell (yes, it stops Holy damage), multiple shieldwalls, snares...
It's closer than you think.|||Umm... Dks can heal themselves. Dks can stun. Dks can snare...
Not that any of this matters, because as some say, rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock.|||Just to put things into perspective:
Death Knights can solo Doomwalker.
Yes, Doomwalker - the ?? world raid boss who has over 2 million hitpoints, who can sunder your armor to 0, and who melees for 16K while enraged.
Surely a lowly level 80 paladin would be easier to kill?|||Shockadin and ret will almost always beat a dk.
Prot and holy pallies dps can be healed easily by a dk so it's just a matter of the dk outlasting the pallies mana pool.|||I would say a paladin, they have two lives (lay of hands) and a pretty much god mode for 12 seconds with a 50% decrease in damage. IMO and plus they have a decent DPS and heals
