But on a serious note, if you were going to make a horde character for absolutely no purpose at all other than PvP....

what would you choose?

So far what I've seen makes me think I'd be better off going Rogue, but there's some strong points in favour or an MS warrior these days. Cloth is out of the question. I refuse to make another PvP character with a big "yoohoo! come get me first" sign on my forehead again. I've also heard some good things about BM hunters, although pallys, shammy's, and druids are picking up steam in the 3v3's. For some reason though Arms warriors have become in demand on arena teams. Overall I'm mostly leaning towards a warrior for both BG and arena usage.|||I don't think there is any class that can beat all the other classes.

My rogue has a little bit trouble with good hunters and those well geared healing shamans/druids 1 vs 1. As fas as I know, warriors hate rogues.|||maybe I failed the humor test! I wasn't seriously looking for a class to beat all other classes. Was only kidding about the title. What I'm looking for is what the best choice would be for someone looking to roll a character purely for PvP reasons, including both BG's and arena.|||Quote:

One class to beat them all...

If you are willing to collect 3 sets of gear - there are two choices.

Druid and Shammy.

You get to be a mage, priest or warrior/rogue.

I love my shammy, currently full enhance spec, but i have been collecting some elemental gear so i switch for bg's every now and then.

With my elemental gear i do the resto thing sometimes and its fun to be able to fill all 3 roles in the bg/pvp area.

The choice comes down to what you enjoy doing most and i enjoy doing all three. Caster dps, melee dps and healer. Druid can achieve the same thing (and you get cool forms :P)|||I use my rogue for pvp "use" ONLY .....might have to pve to get me some badges later on

Pick a rogue , you will have a ball in world solo ganking ... fun to sneak ikn bg's and snatch bases .... helluva fun in arena up tp 3vs3 bracket .... solo raid on allys towns ....|||Quote:

Seriously, with the exception of resto druid in 2v2 it's actually hard to think of two classes that would be worse choices than druid or shammy if you are serious about PVP.|||Warrior.

The one class you can be sure about always doing well in Arenas, due to Kalgan playing one.|||who's the biggest pain for warriors to fight, typically?|||Any class with the right gear and spec can do well in pvp , is all about player skill these days , I have a sub rogue and a surv/mm hunter and they do really well in bgs and 3v3 , you just need to now all classes strengths and weaknesses.|||well to be frank, I've been gaming for 20 years now and one truth I've learned in that time is that the 'any class' answer has been wrong in just about every MMO I've ever played that had both PvP and a class-based structure.
