PvP Rants in LK, curious what others think

After doing several wintergrasp battles, more BGs than i can count and the blue sky logging camp dailies a few times, it seems like pvp is essentially a stun fest now, ret pally sees you, you gets stunned, you die. Lock sees you, you get feared, you die. Rogue sees you, stunlock...dead. Is anyone else having this problem or am i just getting bad luck or something?|||Dude, that's so weird... I was just thinking earlier "It's Player Versus Player, that's what PvP stands for right?" then I remembered from all the whining on forums all over that it actually means "Player Versus Pansy" duh... Geez, can't believe I've been playing for 4 years and didn't even think about that very much...

Okay, now that the burn is done with (Or troll, if you'd prefer.) that's how PvP works. You use all of your abilities that are the best way to kill someone, and... You kill them. It's the main point of PvP. If those people weren't to stun/fear you, where would they be? Running from the GY, right? Then they did their job correctly.

It also depends on which class you are.|||its not that i dont like stuns, its that a stun = win every time|||I agree with Tetamesh. Stun 99% of time= win.|||Considering that you have to be talking about Rogues, Rogue's actually don't get that many stuns off... Especially now that every class has a PvP spec that has stun resist just about, and most PvP gear has a -stun time...|||there are just as many ways to CC a player as there are ways to break the CC.

Please tell me what the elemental Shammy spec is for stun resist? I have a 79 shammy and Rogues, Pallys kill me almost every time with there stun? I do not have a stun resist in my talent spec. Which brings me back to stun 99% of time = Dead|||Insignia much? As I said, most classes. Also, Resto has a few anti-CC things. Same with Enhancement.|||Quote:

At the very least, I hope you've got Astral Shift maxed out.|||I'm not sure about elem shammy, but I know as a boomkin, if I don't have my trinket on and get stunned, I'm pretty much a dead chicken. My only saving grace is barkskin and hopefully I'll live through the stun so I can put some hots up and get some distance in between us.

I do understand where you are coming from. It seems like everyone has something now. I only get a chance to stun and everyone seems to be able to break roots now. I'm glad I won't be back in the bgs until 80 (even though I love them). I just need my spec to be for pve right now.
